2011-2012 Try-Out Information
Current Cheerleaders
All cheerleaders practicing in this location will continue to
practice at their normally scheduled times under the direction
of the current coaches. We are confident that the returning
Comet All Stars staff and their extraordinary abilities will
revitalize this program. We also welcome new coaches to the
staff with outstanding industry knowledge and experience. More
information will follow in regards to plans for the season,
including tuition and competitions/schedule.
Future and Former Cheerleaders
Any cheerleaders interested in JOINING (or re-joining) the Comet
family are urged to contact the gym by phone or email to come in
for team placement. There will be a team for all athletes of ALL
levels. There will also be no tryout fee for team placements.
Team placement appointments can be made between the hours of
4pm-9pm Monday - Thursday.
Anyone who would like to check out or participate in a team
practice this week may attend. Walk-ins welcome!

What
to expect?
Each student will be evaluated in
running tumbling and standing tumbling skills. We will begin
with LEVEL 1 skills (beginner) and then continue through the
elements as far as the student can.
All candidates will have an opportunity
to show us their best running tumbling pass, standing tumbling
skills, jumps and jump combinations. We also look at strength,
flexibility, motions and dance.
